Lunch and Learn at the OSU Healthy Community Center last Friday was a hit. 🙌Preceptor and Chef Laura Robertson- Boyd and MDN student Carley teamed up to share an informative session on fad diets. The menu featured a fresh summer salad with corn, tomatoes, chicken, and watermelon. We loved the learning, collaboration, and great food.🍅🌽🍉

Our sports-focused MDN students are making moves this summer! 🙌

First-year students Siobhan and Josh recently represented our program at a local youth sports leadership conference, sharing their passion for performance nutrition and supporting the next generation of athletes.

Also exciting, Siobhan connected with recent May 2026 graduate Cassadey at the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association conference, a great example of the strong network within our MDN community.

We love seeing our students and graduates showing up, engaging, and making an impact in the field of sports nutrition!

Our MDN Program was proud to be part of the Ohio Grown Student Chef Showcase this month! 👏

MDN student Claire joined faculty Julie Jones and former OSUWMC Chef Jim Warner at Columbus State Community College to support this inspiring event focused on nutrition, culinary skills, and local foods. 🍋‍🟩🍎🥑

Students from across Ohio showcased their creativity by developing and cooking original school lunch recipes featuring local ingredients, highlighting the importance of fresh, unprocessed foods in school meals.

A great day celebrating future talent in nutrition and culinary arts!

Where in the world is Dr. Taylor? 🌎🏃‍♂️
First stop, Idaho, where Dr. Taylor traveled for the Idaho Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Connecting, learning, and representing the profession on a national stage!
Then, earlier this month, he laced up his running shoes once again for another marathon, adding to an already impressive streak.
Before completing state #22 on his marathon journey, he made a memorable stop at Monument Valley, including a visit to the iconic Forrest Gump Point. Unlike Forrest, this was not the end of the road!
From there, Dr. Taylor headed to Shiprock, New Mexico in the heart of the Navajo Nation, to complete his 29th marathon. The Shiprock Marathon is recognized as one of the Top 10 Reader’s Choice marathons in the U.S., making this achievement even more meaningful.
And he is not slowing down anytime soon… next stop, Montana!
We are proud to celebrate the passion, persistence, and adventure Dr. Taylor brings to both the profession and the road!
👏🥰

Over the past couple of weeks, our students have been back in the classroom sharing their knowledge, this time with students at Hilliard Washington and Britton Elementary Schools 👏

Elizabeth and Jodie did a fabulous job teaching lessons on the digestive system and healthy eating, making learning both fun and engaging for the kids!

The elementary students were not only enthusiastic, but also impressively smart, asking great questions and staying fully engaged throughout 🙌
