The purpose of CNHS is to promote an interest in natural history and to foster the study of natural sciences by holding meetings for the exchange of information on topics of common interest. The primary reason for reviving a natural history society in Columbus was the desire to provide a natural history club where women could fully participate as members. A secondary motive was to provide a venue
Only one week and three days to CNHS first meeting of the program year - September 15 Andrew Gibson will speak on Ohio’s mushrooms. Great information and pictures. Hope to see you there!

Don’t forget tomorrow evening, November 18, 2024, CNHS is having a great lecture on asters, coneflowers, and goldenrods. 7:00 pm at University Baptist Church. (Not affiliated with the church.) Just look under the event tab for details of location and program. It would be wonderful to fill the hall.
