Congratulations to our Columbus Pesto Champion, Carmelo Cicero, for his outstanding participation in the Genoa Pesto World Championship in Genoa, Italy! We’re honored to be a part of this delightful celebration of the cuisine and culture of our oldest Sister City, Genoa! And ‘congratulazioni’ to Carla Pensa, this year’s World Pesto Champion!

The big day is here! Good luck to our Columbus Pesto Champion, Carmelo Cicero, as he takes on the world in the Genoa Pesto World Championship in our Sister City Genoa, Italy!

The Columbus Region is in Genoa and ready for the Genoa Pesto World Championship!

The 2025 Columbus Pesto Champion Carmelo Cicero and frequent competitor and author Craig Wales will compete on Saturday for the title of World Pesto Champion in Genoa, Italy. Stay tuned for updates from Genoa!

What a fantastic evening of celebration and Ligurian flavor at Quinci Emporium as we gathered to cheer on our Columbus Pesto Champion, Carmelo Cicero! Carmelo soon departs to represent the Columbus Region at the prestigious Genoa Pesto World Championship in Genoa, Italy. Thank you to one and all who joined us to wish Carmelo luck on his journey to the global stage.
