The Legacy Fund of The Columbus Foundation

To mark our 25th anniversary, the Legacy Fund made a major grant to the Columbus Metropolitan Library and Ohio Humanities to launch the Illuminate Project, capturing central Ohio's LGBTQIA+ history to record our legacy and inspire our future. The project currently includes a digital collection, traveling exhibit, fellowship program and historical marker program.

The traveling exhibit, which was unveiled at our anniversary celebration, will be on display through the end of the month in Q***r Beans + Little Gay Bookstore at Stonewall Columbus

We are currently seeking a small group of motivated individuals to join the board of directors. The Legacy Fund is a volunteer board and all of the Fund’s activities are conducted by board members in conjunction with the Columbus Foundation.

**The Legacy Fund Executive Committee will begin to evaluate potential Board Member applications on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.**
