National Ayrshire Youth

📣 The National Ayrshire Youth committee is excited to announce a new oppurtunity for our youth!

This mentorship is for youth interested in being involved in multiple committees of the National Ayrshire Association as a youth representitive. These include Promotion, Marketing, Show, Classification, Youth and Breed Improvement. The selected candidate will sit in on meetings, help where needed, and give input from a youth perspective where required. This will be a valuable asset in learning the ins and outs of the association, gain leadership experience and prepare to be an integral part of the Adult Association. Making contacts that can help you in your future, whether it be with showing, design, marketing, sale work etc. This oppurtunity will benefit your future involvement in the dairy industry.
Youth committee Reps will get their full registration fee for convention paid for, as well as chances to work in the booth at expo etc.

Introducing our 2025-2026 National Ayrshire Ambassador! Katarina Leach! Kat is 16 from Maine! She started in the Ayrshire breed by leasing from Blue Spruce Farm and now owns her own! Kat is excited to attend as many functions as possible to promote the Ayrshire cow! Help us welcome and congratulate her on her successes!

With one more day of National convention i would like to say thank-you to our retiring ambassador Ava Kaskela and delegates Madeline Headings and Addison Bailey. Ava helped finish off the year by competing in contests selling raffle tickets, helping run the youth banquet and having a blast at the fun auction! Thank you for your hard work this year, the association is blessed to have jrs like you become the members of the future!

Who is at National Convention in Vermont! I have a whole box full of tickets to sell! If you would like to buy some or sell some they are here!! You won't want to miss out on this beautiful calf! Thank you Jenny Smith for generously donating her!
