Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to our country will never be forgotten.
As we gather with family and friends, may we take time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything to protect them.
May we always remember and honor our fallen heroes. 🇺🇸

Another productive week at the Statehouse!
This week, I gave sponsor testimony on HB 710 to establish responsible oversight for data centers in Ohio and HJR 9 to allow Ohio voters to decide on a constitutional amendment regarding voter photo ID requirements.
I also held a productive interested party meeting on HB 605, stopped by Kent State University Museum’s Statehouse installation, “Ohioans in Space: The Carl Walz Spacesuit,” and met with Community Legal Aid Services that serve Portage County!
Grateful for the conversations and opportunities to continue serving Ohio’s 72nd District!

I’m always on the go—here’s what I’ve been up to lately!
I had the chance to meet with Portage County Treasurer Joe Bica alongside Rep. Steve Demetriou to discuss local fiscal priorities and ongoing county needs. I also met with faculty from Northeast Ohio Medical University, including their AI-focused team, to learn more about how emerging technology is shaping the future of medical education and patient care.
I enjoyed visiting with students during an elementary school Career Day event and hearing all about their big dreams for the future. I also hosted my quarterly veteran advisory council and joined the Horses for Healing & Hope kickoff ceremony in Atwater to support veterans and the important work being done in our communities.
This week also included a visit with the quantum team at Kent State University, speaking at the Turning Point USA Freedom Forum alongside Representative Gary Click, and attending the America250 tribute tree planting hosted by the Ravenna Historical Society.
I also attended the Tallmadge City Schools funding townhall and met with leadership at Akron Children's Hospital to discuss the important work they’re doing to support children and families across our region.
Grateful for all the conversations, partnerships, and opportunities to stay connected with our communities across Ohio.

I’m honored to serve on the newly created Joint Data Center Committee as we work to examine the economic, environmental, energy, and community impacts of Ohio’s rapidly growing data center industry.
Ohio has an incredible opportunity to lead in innovation and economic development, but we must also ensure local communities have a seat at the table and their concerns are heard and addressed. I look forward to working with stakeholders, experts, and residents across the state to support responsible growth that benefits all Ohioans.

Even when the House isn’t in session, there is still plenty of important work being done for our communities.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been grateful to stay busy across the district and at the Statehouse by attending the Ohio Farm Bureau legislative dinner, celebrating Colonial Day at the Ohio Statehouse with my family, and joining the Shalersville data center town hall to hear directly from residents.
I also had the opportunity to provide sponsor testimony in the Senate on HB 650, continue conversations on Ohio’s future, and meet with local leaders during a tour of UH Portage Medical Center.
It was an honor to tour Renewable Lubricants and present a commendation recognizing their 35th Anniversary of innovation and contributions to our region.
I also visited the Axess Family Services newest healthcare clinic in Ravenna, which is dedicated to serving underserved residents in our area by providing behavioral health services, an onsite pharmacy, and a dentistry clinic in partnership with NEOMED. This clinic was made possible through state funding and will make a real difference for families in our community.
Serving Portage County and working on the issues that matter most to our families, businesses, and communities remains my top priority.
