The perfect wrap-up to the year! The weather was great and the music was even better...then the alumni joined in. This song (Birdland) was supposed to end the evening but the crowd wanted more. Not sure we have even done an encore before, and it was clear the band had not planned to do one, but their rendition of Vehicle was as high spirited as Birdland.

Kudo to Mr. Mitchell, current, and past members of the Whetstone Jazz Ensemble for a great night.

Join us at the Park of Roses for the last WAPA performance of the year. It is the unofficial end of the school year and the start of summer.

Rumor has it LOTS of alumni will be joining the Whetstone Jazz Ensembles for the last couple songs. The weather should be great and the music even better.

The Clintonville Community Band held their Spring concert today at Whetstone HS and as always they sounded great. If you have never had the chance to hear them keep an eye out for their next concert and stop by and enjoy the music.
