The countdown to summer is ON!
Families gathered at our Champion Companies Milo-Grogan Clubhouse on Friday for summer orientation, giving members and caregivers a chance to prepare for the exciting season ahead.
We're looking forward to welcoming youth back to the Club on June 8 for a summer filled with fun, learning, and new opportunities.
As May wraps up and Mental Health Month comes to a close, our Club kids have a reminder for all of us: words matter. 💙

Columbus City Council Member Melissa Green recently visited our J. Ashburn Jr. Clubhouse to learn more about the opportunities available to youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio and see Club life in action at one of our nine Columbus Club locations.
From hands-on learning to time spent in the garden, our members are building skills, confidence, and connections every day.

Spirit Week fun was in full swing at our South Side Clubhouse! 👯
For “Twin Day,” staff and members paired up with someone at Club to show off their matching looks and Club spirit.
Beyond the fun, activities like this help build friendships, strengthen connections, and create an environment where young people feel included, supported, and excited to be part of the Club community. 💙

Today, we honor and remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
A reminder to our Club families that all Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio locations are closed today in observance of Memorial Day. We wish everyone a safe holiday and look forward to seeing our members back at Club soon. ❤️💙

Who says snow only happens in winter? ❄️
At our Champion Companies Milo-Grogan Clubhouse, Club members recently created their own “Snow in May” experiment, combining art and STEM through hands-on sensory play. Youth explored creativity, experimented with colors, and learned simple science concepts in a fun, interactive, and engaging way.
Moments like these help young people build confidence, problem-solving skills, and positive connections to learning, all while having fun!

On Wednesdays, we wear green. 💚
This Mental Health Month, our Louella Hodges Reese Clubhouse staff in Newark are wearing green to show support for mental wellness and remind us all that caring for ourselves and each other matters.
Last Friday, we had the privilege of celebrating the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio Class of 2026 during Senior Graduation + Teen Night. 🎓💙
This night was about more than graduation. It was about celebrating the friendships, milestones, hard work, growth, and determination that brought our seniors to this moment.
To the Class of 2026: congratulations. Whether your next chapter includes college, the workforce, military service, trade school, apprenticeships, or exploring what’s next, we are cheering you on every step of the way.
At Boys & Girls Clubs, we get a front-row seat to the journey, the confidence built, the support shared, and the futures taking shape. We are so proud of each of you and cannot wait to see where life takes you next.
