🚒❤️ Community Helpers Week: Our Little Heroes in Training!
Our Pre-K class had an exciting adventure visiting Columbus Fire Station 1! 🧑‍🚒🔥
Our little learners had the opportunity to meet our amazing local firefighters, learn important fire safety tips, spray the fire hose, and explore what it takes to be a community helper. From big fire trucks to big smiles, we had so much fun learning about the brave men and women who help keep our community safe! 🚒👨‍🚒

A HUGE thank you to the firefighters at Station 1 for welcoming us, sharing your knowledge, and making our visit so special! We appreciate all you do to protect our community! ❤️

Ms. Watson came and read Mama Cat Has Three Kittens to the class. She is a Labor and Delivery nurse and talked with us about how she helps our community EVERYDAY! Our class also made Fire Trucks, since we are going to the Fire Station!

One of our very own parents, Mr. Watson came into talk about his career piloting planes in the air force. He read the story Kitten's First Full Moon to our GA PreK class. Our class also made a leaf catcher using paper plates, paint, tissue paper, buttons, glue, etc. Growing Skills that Last

Kicking off with us was Pastor Battle from Good Hope MB Church. He read "I Want My Hat Back", written by Jon Klassen and shared with us how he helps our community every day. Thank you, Pastor Battle! The class also made fireman hats and painted with shaving cream.
