CASA Team members took part in a professional development day focusing on volunteer recruitment, support and retention at Franklin Park Conservatory. The event featured a presentation by Measurement Resources Company on how CASA could better care and expand its volunteer base. Both the survey that inspired the presentation and today’s retreat were generously funded by the Friends of CASA, Franklin County Ohio. Thank you to everyone who helped make this impactful day possible!

CASA volunteers work with medical, child welfare, legal and a variety of other professionals to advocate in the best interest of children with disabilities, in an effort to secure the specialized resources they need and deserve.

Disabled kids make up the largest group in foster care. They have the worst outcomes. They stay in foster care longest. They're the most likely to die.
