The Land Bank acquired a house that straddled two lots on the far east side. The foundation of the house had collapsed and the basement was full of at least 5’ of water. That house was demolished and both parcels were put up for sale. After a while a buyer came forward to purchase both lots and these doubles were built. The doubles were quickly rented and are now a home for four families.

This celebration took place at a house built on a Land Bank lot by Habitat for Humanity - MidOhio with students from Ft. Hayes that were there to learn a trade. Looks like a success all the way around and we can't wait to see the next one going up.

Here are some great photos they posted of a modular duplex being boomed into place on a former Land Bank empty lot. We can't wait to visit when the project is complete.
