Environmental justice is social justice! Join NASW Ohio's Social Work Environmental Action Team (SWEAT) for our November planning meeting!
Climate change and environmental challenges disproportionately affect vulnerable communities, making environmental justice an important part of social work advocacy and practice.
SWEAT brings together social workers and social work students who are passionate about addressing climate change, promoting environmental justice, and exploring how our profession can respond to environmental challenges through advocacy, education, and community action.
Whether you're already involved in environmental advocacy or just beginning to explore the connection between social work and environmental justice, we welcome you to get involved!
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
