💙 No Bullying Day at Forrest Road After School Program! 💙
Today, our scholars focused on spreading kindness, building friendships, and standing up for one another. Through engaging activities and lesson plans, students learned what bullying is, how hurtful words can affect others, and how to be an upstander by showing respect, empathy, and courage.
Did You Know? Students who practice kindness and empathy help create safer school communities. Simple actions like giving a compliment, including someone at recess, or speaking up for a friend can make a big difference in preventing bullying.
Our activities included:
Creating kindness chains and positive messages to encourage classmates, writing “shout-outs” and appreciation notes to celebrate the good in one another, discussing ways to safely speak up and support a friend.
We are so proud of our students for choosing kindness every day! Together, we can make a difference. One kind word, one kind action, and one friend at a time. 🌟
