One of the biggest mottos at Springer Theatre Academy is to “make your scene partner the most important person onstage,” and we feel as though our community is our scene partner! Every two weeks this Summer Academy, we’ll collect donations as a service project for different organizations around Muscogee County. Kicking the summer off is our first “scene partner,” Open Door Community House.

Open Door’s mission is to empower impoverished people in the community to reach their full potential as children by creating long-term solutions to poverty. C Session Academy students can donate any of the items listed by bringing them to Academy beginnings, and the deadline to bring items is June 10. Don’t wait, donate!

Today was a special board meeting! The Mrs. Butch Deaton Living Vision Award was presented to Katie Krieg! This award is given annually to the person who is generously invested in keeping alive the vision of our founders through volunteer time, financial support, and the mobilization of the community.
