A special moment at this week's Board of Supervisors meeting!

Supervisor Daurice Kalfsbeek Smith presented Colusa County 4-H students with an official proclamation declaring October 4–10 as National 4-H Week.

We are so proud of these young leaders and the dedication they bring to agriculture, STEM, and civic leadership across our community.

Today the County Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation recognizing October 4–10 as National 4-H Week!

Check out this fun event!

State Field Day is coming soon! Register by May 1 for contests, lunch and a fun day on the UC Davis campus on May 23, 2026. The only contests that require a pre-qualifier is the State Presentations and the State Fashion Revue - specific categories. All other contests are open for all youth ages 9 and up to compete in. Lunch is included with your registration if you are a competitor. We ask everyone to register (family, friends, 4-H staff and friends) so we can plan for the number of people to expect.
