🚒❤️ FROM RESCUE TO REUNION — A MOMENT OUR CREW WILL NEVER FORGET

Some calls stay with you forever.

Earlier this year, our Concan Fire & EMS crew responded to one of those calls—a 3 year-old child in a life-threatening emergency. Our first responders worked alongside our emergency response partners to provide the care he needed during those critical moments.

Today, we are incredibly grateful to see him smiling, celebrating his birthday, and surrounded by some of the first responders who helped give him that opportunity.

For our crew, this is what it’s all about. Behind every call, every siren, and every long shift is a person and a family counting on us during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Seeing this young man doing well and getting the opportunity to celebrate with him is something our crew will carry with us for a long time.

We are thankful for everyone who played a role that day—from first responders and medical crews to the hospital teams who continued his care.

Happy Birthday, young man! 🎂🎉

From all of us at Concan Fire & EMS, we are so glad we got to see that smile again. ❤️🚑🚒

Jameson Aguilar spent his fourth birthday in a coma after being found unconscious in a swimming pool two months ago.

🌧️ Rain in the Forecast 🌧️

We are seeing rain predictions for this coming week that are all over the place, with forecasts continuing to change.

We ask everyone to simply continue to monitor the weather, just as we will here at Concan Fire & EMS. As conditions and forecasts become clearer, we’ll continue to keep our community informed.

🙏 We are certainly praying for some good, beneficial rain! We could use it, and hopefully it will help keep the Frio River flowing and full for everyone to enjoy.

As always, stay weather aware and stay safe!

Concan Fire & EMS would like to thank Sabinal Volunteer Fire Department and Knippa Volunteer Fire Department and Reagan Wells Volunteer Fire Department their quick response and assistance on a call that initially came in as a possible structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews found a grass fire that had gotten dangerously close to becoming a structure fire. Thanks to the fast response and teamwork of all departments involved, crews were able to quickly knock down the fire and protect the nearby structure.

We greatly appreciate Sabinal VFD and Knippa VFD and Reagan Wells VFD for answering the call and helping us get this fire under control.

Great teamwork by all! 🚒🔥
