Lint happens. Fires donโt have to. Lint buildup can lead to a dryer fire if itโs not cleaned regularly.
โข Clean the lint filter before or after each load.
โข Make sure the outdoor vent flap opens when the dryer is running.
โข Have a qualified service person clean the inside of the dryer cabinet and exhaust duct once a year.

๐๐ Sometimes on calls, we interact with some pretty unexpected citizensโฆ todayโs โresidentโ apparently thought engine life looked better than coop life.
This feathered friend decided to hop in the fire truck and inspect the cab like she was the new fire chief. Luckily, she didnโt request lights and sirens or ask to drive. ๐
Around here, no two calls are ever the same!

Tonight, Chief Ennis had the honor of presenting Firefighter Jayden Hemphill with his black helmet.
Receiving a black helmet signifies that Jayden has successfully completed all of his required firefighting classes and is now certified to serve as an interior firefighter. This is a major milestone that takes countless hours of training, dedication, and hard work.
Please join us in congratulating Jayden on this accomplishment and thanking him for his commitment to serving the citizens of our community. We are proud to have him as part of the Rimer Fire Department family! ๐๐ฅ
