Concord - Council races, two unopposed & two contested
Harrisburg - City Council, 9 candidates, you can pick four
Kannapolis - At-large City Council, 6 candidates, you can pick three
Mount Pleasant - Mayor's race b/w incumbent Del Eudy & challenger Tony Lapish, two Commissioners are unopposed
Midland - Mayor Pro Tem Darren Hartsell & Councilman Allen Burnette are unopposed

Reality: There is no evidence of any manipulation of NC election systems in any election. Security precautions are in place, and audits and recounts demonstrate accurate results.

Myth: The election management system is easily manipulated.

Every polling place is staffed with bipartisan, trained officials who take an oath to uphold state election laws and work together to ensure election security. Bipartisan boards of elections oversee all aspects of elections.
