Camp Raven K**b 2025: This week our pack attended Camp Raven K**b for Cub Scout summer camp. Our scouts learned climbing skills, swimming, hiking, fishing, knot tying, shooting sports, handicrafts, and much more. Way to go scouts on a great summer camp experience!

May 26th, 2025:
Pack 83 learned why we celebrate Memorial Day. The scouts placed flags on graves, folded retired American flags, and participated in a flag retirement ceremony.
Thank you to all those who have served and have given their lives for our country, we will always remember. Happy Memorial Day from Pack 83!

Pack 83 Crossover Ceremony: On Monday May 12th, our scouts were awarded their earned ranks and crossed the bridge to their next rank. These scouts, leaders and parents worked hard this year to accomplish the required adventures. Our pack is excited for the coming year, and all the new adventures we will have together.

Today our scouts completed their community service project at The Drake. The scouts performed three skits, two songs, the Scout Oath and Scout Law, and visited with the residents. They did such an amazing job, both the residents and the scouts were asking when our pack could go back. 😁

Pack 83 enjoyed a hike at the Reddy Creek Park and nature center. The scouts contributed to helping the environment by picking up trash along our hike, learning about the animals that live in our area and had some play time at the nature themed playground. What a great day to celebrate Earth day and lend a helping hand for our environment, well done scouts!

Spring break trip to Pigeon Forge, TN!
Pack 83 had a great time on our spring break trip. The scouts started their day with a hike on the Gatlinburg Trail in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park where they enjoyed a walk through the nature center, a hike, saw some snakes and played in the creek. Afterwards that they dinner at the Timberwood Grill and then it was off to the Titanic Museum 🚢. The scouts were given a private tour, felt the 27° water 🥶, and enjoyed a movie in the grand ballroom before camping out for the night.
For those scouts who chose to stay longer, we took off for a day at Dollywood followed by a dinner show at the Dolly Stampede!
