A special shoutout to two amazing ladies at Concord Middle School! 🖤💛

Ms. Coley, our head custodian, was awarded Support Staff of the Year! She keeps our building squeaky clean, makes sure teachers and staff have everything they need to be successful and safe, and leads her team each day with dedication, positivity, and hard work.

Ms. Udu, our ELA EC teacher, was awarded the Jane Spainhour Distinguished Leadership Award. Ms. Udu gives everything she has to support students and staff, always putting the needs of others before her own — all with a smile on her face. Many days, her car is the first in the parking lot and one of the last to leave.

We are beyond thankful for the impact these two incredible women make at CMS each and every day. Congratulations on these well-deserved honors! ⛏️

We celebrated our staff BIG today at our final staff meeting of the year! There was lots of laughter, fun, and even a few tears of joy as we reflected on an incredible year together. 🖤💛⛏️

This team has made outstanding growth by showing up every single day and pouring their hearts into our students. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment were truly reflected in our EOG test scores this year! We are so proud of the amazing staff we have here at CMS. The future is bright for the Miners, and we can’t wait to see what next year brings… because we’re just getting started! ⛏️

We’ve had such a fun week celebrating our Miners during Field Day festivities for each grade level! ⛏️🖤💛

Today, our 8th graders celebrated big after their promotional ceremony with hotdogs, chips, candy, drinks, and lots of fun as they kicked off summer together! A huge thank you to Wayside for donating the hotdogs and to our amazing PTO for providing chips, candy, and drinks for our students.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the perfect start to summer without Kona Ice! ☀️🍧

Today we celebrated the accomplishments, growth, and success of our amazing 8th grade Miners as they were officially promoted to high school! ⛏️🖤💛

During our 8th Grade Promotional Ceremony, students were recognized for subject area achievements, encore awards, character awards, Principal’s Awards, and Honor Roll accomplishments. We are incredibly proud of everything this class has achieved during their time at Concord Middle School.

Congratulations, Class of 2030! Once a Miner, always a Miner💛 We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish in high school and beyond!

Yesterday we recognized a few special students for their hard work, leadership, and dedication during our 6th Grade Awards Ceremony. From subject area awards and encore recognitions to Character Awards, Principal’s Awards, and Honor Roll achievements, we are so proud of all they have accomplished this school year!
