Giving thanks for the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the country.
05/24/2026
This Memorial Day, we pause as a Federation to honor the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Their courage, strength, and unwavering devotion to duty secured the freedoms we enjoy today.
Freedom is not free. It has been purchased through generations of sacrifice by those willing to stand in defense of our country, our Constitution, and our American way of life.
As Republican Women, we proudly support our military members, veterans, and the families who stand beside them through every deployment, hardship, and homecoming. Their service and sacrifice deserve not only our gratitude, but also our enduring respect and honor.
May we never forget those who gave everything for the United States of America. Let us live in a way that reflects the values they fought to protect — faith, freedom, strength, and patriotism.
On behalf of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women, I wish you and your families a meaningful and reflective Memorial Day.
With honor and gratitude,
Erica Vedeikis
President
