Great news! The Mountain Film Festival in Concrete has won the award for the best event in the state in a small market. (Seafair won in the large market category.)

Valerie Stafford accepted the award on behalf of the Concrete Chamber and Concrete Theatre during the annual conference of the Washington Festivals & Events Association tonight at the Bellevue Marriott.

The 5th Annual Mountain Film Festival is March 19, 20, and 21. (Put it on your calendar!)

Valerie is shown here with Meredith McIlmoyle, executive director of the Anacortes Arts Festival, who’s holding our very heavy blue award!

The cast and crew of the 2026 Concrete Ghost Walk, minus a couple not pictured here. Your community spirit is simply amazing!

Even after 21 years of this event, we average 50-60 attendees every night and they love learning the history and mystery of our town.

THANKS to all of you for being part of the fun!!
