📢 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 📢

WATER & WASTEWATER UTILITY OPERATIONS CONTRACT

The Town of Woodloch, Texas is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified independent contractors or utility operating companies to bid on a one-year contract for the operation and routine maintenance of the Town's water and wastewater utility systems.

The Town's systems include:

💧 Water treatment & distribution 🚰 Wastewater treatment 🔧 Wastewater collection

The selected contractor will provide qualified, properly licensed personnel to perform the contracted services, including routine operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and emergency response.

We are seeking contractors who have:

Appropriate and current TCEQ licenses/credentials
Experience operating water and wastewater systems
The ability to perform the contracted work directly
Reliable communication and service
Emergency/after-hours response capability
Professional references and demonstrated experience
📋 Contract Term: 1 year 💰 Proposals/Bids: Competitive proposals will be accepted 🏛️ Selection: Town Council will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, experience, proposed services, emergency response, references, price, and overall value.

The Town owns the facilities and equipment.

🚨NOTICE

Good afternoon Town of Woodloch Utility customers, a break on a main line has been found. Every effort will be made to not shut off water to our customers along Needham road (N & S Woodloch, River Ridge & River Oaks). We will have an update as soon as the crew gets started.

We will be having our regular monthly City council meeting on September 21 at 7 PM. We hope to see everybody there.

All non essential offices are closed tomorrow to ensure the safety of our employees. Our essential public safety departments will function like normal. If you have any business with a county agency or department tomorrow (September 2) please check with them prior to going to their office.

We expect Tropical Storm Edouard to move out of the area fairly quickly tomorrow and the threat for excessive rain will diminish by the end of tomorrow.
