What if you could understand the person across from you just a little better?

The customer who's ready to move now. The one who needs every detail. The person who wants to feel a connection first. Or the one who stops responding altogether.

On October 14, Dona Kappmeyer will help us take a closer look at what may be happening in those conversations during our first Elevate Essentials Workshop.

Crack the Code: Communicate Better, Sell Smarter introduces B.A.N.K. Personality Intelligence—a practical approach to understanding how people communicate, decide and buy.

You'll learn how to recognize different communication styles, identify triggers and turnoffs, adjust your message, and even discover your own B.A.N.K. code. And the best part? You'll walk away looking at your customer conversations a little differently than you did when you walked in.

📅 Wednesday, October 14
⏰ 12–1 PM
📍 Converse Community Center
🥗 FREE + complimentary lunch + Gift for every Attendee

Come curious. Leave with something you can use.

Or one who asked a million questions while another just wanted you to get to the point?
There may be more happening in those conversations than you realize.

Crack the Code: Communicate Better, Sell Smarter

In one interactive lunch hour, you'll learn how to:
✔ Recognize different customer communication styles

Connected Converse was just the beginning!

What happens when local businesses, resource partners and community leaders come together in one room?

Connections happen. Resources are discovered. Ideas are shared. And new opportunities begin.

We had an incredible time at Connected Converse, bringing our business community together to discover new tools, meet valuable resource partners, make connections and share what they need to succeed.

A BIG thank you to our sponsors, vendors, resource partners and every business that joined us. You helped make this event what it was! ❤️

And if you missed it this year... don't worry. We're just getting started.

Throughout the event, we asked our businesses what they need, what challenges they're facing and where they see opportunities.

We asked those questions for a reason.

Something new is coming from Converse EDC—designed specifically to support the businesses already investing in our community.

📣 Coming October 1: Elevate Converse.

Supporting Business. Strengthening Converse.

Stay tuned. We'll be sharing more very soon.

📣 Converse businesses—here’s a great opportunity to show up for your community!

Two of Converse’s favorite community events are coming up, and we’d love to see our local businesses get involved.

National Night Out and Boo with the Blue bring Converse residents, families, businesses, and community leaders together—and that makes them a great opportunity to connect with the people who live, work, and shop right here in Converse.

🤝 Participate. Get involved. Be seen. Be part of the community you serve.

Whether you join the festivities, support the event, donate candy for Boo with the Blue, or simply help spread the word, every bit of participation helps strengthen the connections between our businesses and our community.

Check out the original post below for all the details, and mark your calendars!

When our businesses show up for Converse, Converse shows up for our businesses. ❤️

Twenty years in business is more than a milestone—it's a legacy of serving the community with integrity, hard work, and heart.

Converse EDC was honored to celebrate **20 years of S&S Plumbing ** and recognize the lasting impact Sherill and Steven Stanush have made on our community. What began as a vision to build a plumbing company rooted in quality workmanship, honest service, and genuine care has grown into a trusted local business that creates jobs, gives back to the community, and helps build the future of Converse.

Congratulations on two decades of excellence. Thank you for investing in Converse, supporting our residents, and proving that great businesses are built one relationship at a time.

Here's to the next chapter of success. 💙
