Despite taking over the farm only six years ago, Kurt’s roots run deep here. With his parents buying it back in 1978, he was fortunate enough to grow up working in the orchard and learning from his father. His decision to continue the farm was based on his love for it and his belief in the importance of preserving local agriculture and keeping farms going.

Having a history of farming between past generations in his family and working on a vegetable farm when he was younger, Alan decided to start his own in 2004 when he moved to Wolfeboro. His reason for it is simple, he has just always had the desire to be in agriculture!
