We hope you will join us for the 2026 annual Faulkner County Electronic Waste Drive and Faulkner County, County-Wide Cleanup. Both of the events will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 8:00am to 3:00pm and Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

The Electronic Waste Drive will be held at the Conway Expo Center, located at 2505 E. Oak St. Conway, AR.

The County Wide Cleanup has numerous venues, and will be hosted at all of the following sites:

Early voting is in full swing here in Faulkner County! The Faulkner County Courthouse, located at 801 Locust St. Conway, AR, 72034, is an official early voting location. A hero remembered never dies! Thank you for your service to the citizens of Faulkner County, Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Oscar Honea!

Today, we honor the life, legacy, and service of Deputy Oscar Honea. On this date in 1914, Deputy Honea was tragically killed in the line of duty while searching for a fugitive near Mayflower. Deputy Honea left behind a loving wife and nine children. In remembrance of his legacy in 2022, the family of Deputy Honea donated his duty weapon, which was one of the first handguns to be carried by a Faulkner County Deputy, to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office to be displayed as a historical piece. This particular handgun retired with Deputy Honea at the time of his death. Deputy Honea may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. A hero remembered never dies! End of Watch: October 22, 1914.

The Faulkner County Emergency Squad Team Duck Squad recently participated in the brand new Float the Flame Relay to support Special Olympics Arkansas! As a result of all of the community support, the event was a huge success! Float the Flame Relay raised over $5,600 for the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Arkansas! The Duck Squad looks forward to floating the flame again next year!

The Faulkner County Administrative Offices wishes to express our appreciation for all of the teams competing as well as the event supporters. We look forward to being able to contribute to the growth and continued success of this incredible new event in the future!

Just a friendly reminder that the Faulkner County Veterans Service Office is closed this week, Monday, October 19, 2026, through Friday, October 23, 2026, to allow officials to attend required Arkansas Veterans Affairs Training. Should you need assistance during this time, please call 501-329-5945 and leave a message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. The Faulkner County Veterans Service Office will reopen on Monday, October 26, 2026, for normal business hours.
