CAPCA Community Action Program for Central Arkansas CAPCA is a nonprofit organization that receives funding from multiple sources. Arkansas Energy Office Weatherization.

Mission Statement--In partnership with our community, CAPCA is committed to administering high-quality programs and services that address economic need, educate, and promote the self-sufficiency of eligible participants. Office of Community Services-LIHEAP, CSBG Case Management, Emergency Solutions (Homeless Prevention & Rapid Rehousing), TEFAP. Head Start, Early Head Start, and Migrant Seasonal Head Start. United Way, USDA-Child and Adult Care Food Program.

This year's Bookcase Project event will feature a special panel discussion focused on childhood literacy and the importance of helping children develop strong reading skills.

Our three panelists have made significant contributions to improving childhood literacy and will share their experiences, insights and perspectives on the challenges they face each year.

We look forward to an engaging and informative discussion about the importance of early literacy and how we can continue working together to make a difference in the lives of children in our community.
