HCPD’S 5TH PRECINCT HAS A NEW HOME

On September 1, the Horry County Police Department’s 5th Precinct officially began operating from the new Central Coast Complex in Carolina Forest.

This new location is an important investment in public safety and will help HCPD better serve Carolina Forest and the surrounding communities. I am proud to see this facility open and our officers working from their permanent new home.

The precinct is no longer operating from its temporary location off Forestbrook Road. Details about the Central Coast Complex grand opening will be announced soon.
