Thank you to ECMC Foundation and the ECMC Group employees who make the GO! Program possible. We’re grateful for your support in giving more of our students the chance to learn beyond the classroom. Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients!

Join us in celebrating Lutonya Stigger!!! 🎉

Lutonya was featured in the University of Minnesota’s CEHD First-Gen Voices series. In her own words, she shares what it’s like to be a first-generation college student at 58, what drew her to special education as a second career, and what she’s learned about perseverance along the way.

We’re extremely lucky to have Lutonya on the Paladin Team as she prepares to become a special education teacher through NXT GEN Teach at the College of Education and Human Development UMN. Congratulations, Lutonya! We’re proud to be part of your journey and grateful you chose to share your story.

🥤🎉 Sip Sip Hooray! 🎉🥤

Our seniors had a reason to celebrate! Last week we hosted a Sip Sip Hooray celebration for students who received their Direct Admission letters. 💌

We mixed up some fun drinks, ate some popcorn, played Kahoot for prizes, and took time to celebrate this exciting milestone and all the hard work that got them here!

Big things are ahead for these seniors, and we’re excited to cheer them on every step of the way! 🎓💛🖤

👑 Passing of the Knights!

Liz has been such an awesome addition to Paladin! Not only is she a great teacher and an amazing person, but she brings so much creativity, care, personality, and laughter wherever she goes. Students and staff are lucky to have her around. We’re so glad you’re here, Liz! Keep being your fabulous self, DIVA! 💃✨

Zarif was recognized for the patience, kindness, and encouragement he brings to our students every day. He has a way of showing up when students need a little extra support, meeting them where they are, and helping them work through challenges without judgment. He's also pretty great at math (which definitely doesn't hurt!) and brings an energy that students appreciate and connect with. We’re lucky to have you, Zarif!

Congrats to this week's Knights! Thanks for being part of what makes Paladin such a great place to be! 👑💛🖤

🎃👻 The Costume Contest is TOMORROW! 👻🎃

Throwing it back to last year’s winners! 🏆 Now we want to know… what are YOU wearing this year? 👀

Get creative, bring the spooky (or silly!) vibes, and don’t forget to follow the posted costume guidelines!

Let’s see what you’ve got, Paladin! 🖤💛

We’re so proud of our two students, Preston and Aaron (Jah) who represented Paladin through the MAAP Stars program! These students help bring student voices to the table and represent alternative education across Minnesota.

And we have another reason to celebrate! 🎉 Preston was elected as a MAAP STARS officer, continuing an incredible tradition of Paladin having a student represented as an officer for 10 consecutive years!

We’re proud of these students for stepping up, sharing their voices, and representing Paladin. What an amazing accomplishment! 🙌

👑 Passing of the Knights!

We’ve got two more Knights to celebrate this week! 💛🖤

Emily is just an all-around awesome human. Whether as a coworker, leader, or friend, they show up for the people around them in so many ways. We’re lucky to have you on our team!

Esper has such a great way of connecting with our students! They’re always one step ahead, anticipating what’s needed and jumping in to make things happen without having to be asked. That kind of initiative makes a big difference, and we’re so glad you’re part of Paladin!

Two very deserving Knights! Thanks for all you do and for being part of what makes Paladin such a great place to be. 👑✨
