Today, members of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Cooper City District were proud to support the Special Olympics field day at Cooper City Elementary School.

Students, athletes, volunteers, and community partners came together for a day focused on inclusion, teamwork, and fun. Deputies had the opportunity to interact with participants, cheer them on, and help create memorable experiences both on and off the field.

From friendly conversations and frozen treats to celebrating the accomplishments of every athlete, the event highlighted the importance of building connections and fostering an environment where everyone can succeed.

Tonight’s Crafting with Cops event brought creativity and community together as participants designed beautiful pressed flower art inside glass frames while spending time with deputies in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 🌸

Throughout the evening, attendees carefully arranged pressed flowers to create unique keepsake pieces while engaging in positive conversations focused on community connection and wellness. Events like these continue to provide meaningful opportunities for residents of all ages to build relationships with law enforcement in a fun and approachable setting.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make tonight’s event such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next Crafting with Cops event!
