Participants enjoyed an evening of seasonal crafts, colorful creations, and great conversation while connecting with members of the BSO Cooper City District.

Events like these provide a fun, relaxed opportunity to build relationships, strengthen community connections, and bring residents together.

Please be advised that due to a traffic crash near Griffin Road and SW 106th Avenue, the eastbound left lane and westbound turn lane are currently blocked.

The crash is outside of the intersection, which remains open to traffic.

This past weekend, our Citizen Observer Patrol (COP) volunteers participated in Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) training, enhancing their emergency preparedness and lifesaving skills.

The training focused on essential first aid techniques and the proper use of emergency medical supplies to help volunteers respond effectively in critical situations.

Our BSO Cooper City Citizen Observer Patrol (COP) volunteers recently participated in an informative presentation led by Disability Advocacy and Support Specialists, Inc.

The presentation focused on autism awareness, wandering prevention, and water safety, providing our volunteers with valuable knowledge to better recognize potential risks and respond to situations involving individuals who may need additional assistance.

Please be advised that the intersection of Flamingo Road and Griffin Road is experiencing traffic disruptions due to a traffic crash.

All northbound lanes on Flamingo Road are currently shut down. Southbound lanes have reopened; however, traffic remains affected in all four directions.

Please be advised that due to a traffic crash at Stirling Road and SW 90th Avenue, Stirling Road is currently closed in both directions.

Traffic is being diverted as follows:

Westbound traffic: Diverted north onto SW 90th Avenue.

Eastbound traffic: Directed to make a U-turn near Cooper City High School.

Our very own Sgt. Sisson had the pleasure of serving as a judge for Griffin Elementary School’s Red Ribbon Week Door Decorating Contest!

Students and teachers showcased their creativity with colorful, imaginative displays promoting the importance of making healthy choices and living drug-free.

A little kindness can go a long way!

Our BSO Cooper City deputies had a wonderful time spreading smiles and brightening days as part of Petal It Forward, an initiative that encourages random acts of kindness through the simple gesture of giving flowers.

The idea is simple: receive two bouquets, keep one for yourself, and share the other with someone else to help spread kindness throughout the community!

A special thank you to De La Flor for generously providing the beautiful flowers that helped make this initiative possible!
