Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost and the countless lives forever changed by the events of that day.

We especially remember the **343 FDNY firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 EMS providers** who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call to help others.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, selflessness, and commitment to duty remain an inspiration to first responders everywhere. We remember not only those who were lost that day, but also the countless firefighters, police officers, EMS providers, and civilians who continued the fight in the days, weeks, and years that followed.

May we never forget their names, their sacrifice, and the families and communities who continue to carry their memories.

25 years later. We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
