"Whereas, trees are cherished by the residents of Coppell for the vital roles they play in enhancing our quality of life..."

Did you know that the City of Coppell has proudly been recognized as a Tree City USA community for 30 years? That means that for three decades, Coppell has met he program’s four core standards by maintaining a Tree Board, adopting
tree ordinances, allocating a minimum of $2 per capita towards community
forestry, and observing Arbor Day.

Thank you, Mayor Mays and Coppell City Council, for helping us highlight this exciting achievement and officially proclaiming October 13, 2026 as “Arbor Day”! 🌳
