๐Ÿ’œ A Sweet Thank You to Our Community Partners! ๐Ÿช

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Circle of Hope shared a little sweetness with our law enforcement and court partners to thank them for the important role they play in supporting survivors of domestic violence.

Thanks to some delicious homemade cookies from Circle of Hopeโ€™s very own That Bread Lady, we were able to show our appreciation for the partnerships that help make our community safer.

We are grateful for the dedication, compassion, and collaboration of those who work alongside us to help survivors find safety, support, and hope. ๐Ÿ’œ

A Temporary Protective Order (TPO) is a civil court order that can legally require someone harming you to stay away from your home, workplace, or school. In some cases, it may also address temporary custody arrangements or possession of shared property. A TPO is often one of the first legal options survivors consider when seeking safety.

Filing for a TPO can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already focused on staying safe. Our legal advocacy team is here to help. We can explain what a TPO may cover, walk alongside you through the paperwork and filing process, and support you at every court date.

You can seek a TPO whether or not you decide to pursue criminal charges.

You do not have to navigate the legal system alone.
