**Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge Closure**

Starting the week of October 19th, there will be daily bridge closures from 7:00am-3:00pm, at the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge. The closure will allow the NH Dept of Transportation to replace deck planking on the bridge. Closures are anticipated to be in effect through the end of November. Please plan accordingly during this timeframe.

As part of the Town’s Gravel Road Improvement Plan, the following roads will be closed as described, below:

Hell Hollow closed Monday, July 20th from 7:00am – 2:30pm
St. Gaudens Road from Gap Rd to Lang Rd closed Tuesday July 21st
7:00am-2:30pm
Gap Road closed Wednesday July 22nd (Rain date Thurs July 23rd ) from
7:00am to 2:30pm.

Please seek alternate routes during these timeframes.

Great River Hydro will be conducting required maintenance on the Bellows Falls Dam, beginning Sunday, April 26th, and is expected to last 3-4 days.

Great River Hydro will be conducting a draw down of the Connecticut River to make the necessary repairs and as a result you will see exposed riparian areas upstream of the dam.

All recreational boating and use is strongly discouraged during the drawdown period. Reduced water flow may expose previously submerged hazards and could create dangerous conditions in exposed mud flats.
After the work is completed, water levels will be restored to normal operating levels.

Please refrain from recreational use of the Connecticut River at the Cornish Boat Landing during this time frame.
