On Sunday, Nov. 1st @ 7pm the Francis Small Heritage Trust will be presenting, “Wabanakis Then and Now,” an exploration of the past, present and future of Indigenous peoples in Maine. This talk highlights rich historical contexts alongside modern tribal governance, advocacy for tribal sovereignty, and ongoing community stewardship. FREE. All are invited.

Wanna meet him in person? He'll be at Portland Public Library on Sat, 10/17, 3-4:30pm, reading from his novel "Winterset Hollow," followed by a conversation with Michelle Souliere of Green Hand Bookshop.
