This spooktacular family-friendly event will have:

• 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗝 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝗯𝘆: From popular hits to Halloween favorites, the beats will be rocking and thrilling.
• 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀: Enjoy watching “Hocus Pocus” (1993) and “Casper” (1995) on the lawn under the stars, so bring your own blanket or lawn chairs. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁.

The position will be responsible for overseeing and processing applications for the City’s residential utility customer support programs. Duties include determining income and program eligibility, providing customer service, creating and maintaining applicant files, tracking application status, entering and updating program data in program software and internal spreadsheets, preparing payment requests, maintaining accurate records, collecting and reporting program data, and preparing program-related correspondence and letters.

The position oversees the operations and maintenance of City's six Wastewater Treatment Plants including process control, budget preparation and control, workforce coordination, staff training, Wastewater Treatment Plant safety as well as miscellaneous logistics management. This position is to ensure that City's six Wastewater Treatment Plants meet all related regulatory requirements (Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits).

• Contact your insurance company to report the damage and begin the claims process. Submit photos and descriptions of what your property looked like before and after the storm.

Meet Trip, our Pet of the Week!

Trip is an energetic 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who loves treats, attention, and running in the play yard. During a recent Doggy Day Out, he enjoyed walking along the shoreline, improving his leash skills, and splashing around in the water. Trip learns quickly and has already mastered commands like "sit" and "lie down."

Do you think you could provide Trip with a loving home? Come and meet him, along with our other shelter pets, at Corpus Christi Animal Care Services at 2626 Holly Road, Monday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents can safely and anonymously dispose of unneeded, expired, or unwanted medications at two Nueces County drop-off locations: Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District (1702 Horne Road) and CVS Pharmacy in partnership with the Robstown Police Department (1000 North First Street, Robstown).

The Drug Enforcement Administration event aims to prevent drug misuse and abuse. Collection sites cannot accept syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs, and liquid products must remain sealed in original containers with tight caps.
