Freedom Friday! ✨

We recently released an Ibis that came in due to an injured leg. The ibis was brought to us back in the beginning of September and it thankfully had a speedy recovery! ✅ As you can see, it was more than ready to get back out there in the wild!

It was showing great signs of improvement such as eating and good mobility. After approval from our Director, it was eligible for release! 🦅

We are very happy we get to release patients other than sea turtles and raptors that are vital in the ecosystem! Follow us for make updates on our patients! 🙌

Turtle Tuesday 🐢

We recently released 9 green sea turtles! They came in to our facility due to minor injuries and were at the facility for a only a couple weeks! 🙌

The injuries included stranding, fishing line entanglement and stuck in between the rocks at the jetties! Fortunately the injuries were not too bad and they all made a speedy recovery and were ready to head back home into the wild!🌊

For more information for stranded sea turtles, contact 1-800-TURTLE-5 or us at 361-589-4023!‼️
