Drug Take Back Day is almost here!
Clean them out. Keep them safe. Take them back.

Join the Cortez Police Department at Walgreens (1671 E. Main St.) on Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10am to 2pm to safely dispose of any unused or expired prescription medications.

We can accept: tablets, capsules, patches, and liquids in their original sealed containers.

We cannot accept: syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs.

Clearing out old medications helps prevent misuse and accidental poisonings. It is a simple, anonymous step that can help keep our community safe.
