Join us this Thursday Oct 8th from 4:30p to 6:30pm for our open house event!
Location: 640 E 2nd Street Cortez, CO

SASO is excited to have our new office space along with the Adult Education Center. Come meet our advocates, learn about our services and how you can get involved! Navajo tacos will be served, a live band, and games! Come swing by and say hi, we look forward to seeing you there.

At our Child Advocacy Center, every child deserves to be heard, supported, and surrounded by people who are committed to their healing and well-being. Our team works together to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care and to help children and families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

While each of us has a different role, we share one purpose: to advocate for children, support families, and help bring healing and hope to those we serve. 💙

We are proud of the work we do and grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside children and families in our community. Together, we are stronger. Together, we make a difference. 🌟

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Betty Cullen, Lois Cowan, and Sharon Jergens for the beautiful quilts they have lovingly created and donated to our Center.

These quilts are so much more than beautiful handmade gifts. For the children who come through our doors during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, a quilt can provide comfort, warmth, and a tangible reminder that someone cares about them.

Your time, talent, and generosity make a meaningful difference to the children and families we serve. Each quilt carries with it a message of kindness, compassion, and hope—and those are gifts that will stay with the children long after they leave our Center.

Thank you, Betty, Lois, and Sharon, and all the other quilt donors for wrapping our children in love and comfort. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and the beautiful work you do for our community.

Parents and caregivers in Montezuma County: your voice can help shape how local families are supported.

Join the Parents & Caregivers Listening Session to share what is working, where support is needed, and what would make a difference for children and families across the county. You’ll also hear results from a recent local survey.

Dinner and childcare are provided, and participants will receive a $50 gift card as a thank-you.
