Are you having issues affording your heat bills? HEAP may be able to help! HEAP is a federally funded program that is designed to help eligible households with energy costs. Eligible applicants can receive a one-time benefit paid directly to their heating vendor. The Office for the Aging assists with these applications for individuals 60 and over. A representative from our office will be presenting at various sites around Cortland County and will be available afterward to assist with completing applications. Please see the attached flyer for locations and times if you’d like to attend or need help with your application.

If you are interested in learning more about HEAP and are 60 or over, please contact us at 607-753-5060.
