SVHC staff got to attend the Employee Wellness Day & Resource Fair on Thursday, which was a great opportunity hosted by Cortland County's Employee Health & Wellness Committee for employees to connect with health resources available to them outside of their workplace! We also got to hand out some SVHC goodies to whoever came by!

SVFR just had another successful free food giveaway for the Cortland community. We were able to serve 350 households, 831 individuals, and 7193 pounds of food at this giveaway. It was so busy that we ran out of food before the end!

We also offered special recipe cards with some foods, encouraging families to use their items for cooking delicious meals at home!

Philanthropy Day is coming up on November 15, and SVHC is looking for your support!

We strive to make our community a healthier, happier place, and one of the ways we've done that has been with our monthly free food giveaways, for nearly all of 2026. But being able to repeatedly offer this great food to so many community members costs money, and that's where you can come in.

This past weekend, SVHC staff handed out candy AND toothbrushes at Cortland County's Trunk or Treat event on Main Street—staying in the Halloween spirit while also reminding our community of the importance of oral health! Our friend Mighty Molar even made a surprise appearance!
