🍂 Come spend your Saturday with us at the Mosquito Lake State Park Nature Center! We have a day of birds, creativity, and outdoor fun planned for TODAY, October 17!
☕ 9–10 AM | Breakfast with the Birds Enjoy birdwatching at the feeders with Naturalist Jason Lee and local birder Steve Craiger! Free coffee and doughnuts provided by the Friends of Mosquito Lake State Park while supplies last. Bring a lawn chair if you can!
🎨 10 AM–Noon | Nature Drawing with Tim Join Tim, one of our dedicated volunteers, to explore your creative side! Color premade nature sketches or get help sketching your own. Artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome!
🏹 2–3 PM | Archery & BB Gun First Shot Learn the basics with our volunteers and naturalist, with an emphasis on safety. Adults are welcome to participate, too! Meet at the Mosquito Lake Archery Range near the camp store. Closed-toe shoes are required, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Weather permitting.
🐢 Nature Center Open: 9 AM–4 PM Explore our wildlife displays, meet our animal ambassadors, and bring your nature questions!
