Corvallis Palestine Solidarity A community organization in Corvallis, Oregon, dedicated to justice, equality & human rights for the Palestinian people. Students are welcomed!

Please note: we don't take messages on this site. Please send your messages to Instagram. Corvallis Palestine Solidarity is a community organization in Corvallis, Oregon, working to promote awareness and engage community members and students in the campaign for justice, equality and human rights for the Palestinian people. CPS hosts educational community events, films and discussions that are free and open to the public and also participates in rallies, conferences, marches and protests locally and regionally. We often approach the political situation of Palestine through a cultural lens, highlighting the humanity, history, art, culture and food of the Palestinian people. We have organized numerous fundraisers—most benefiting the Middle East Children’s Alliance—from dinners and film series to a 3-day cultural weekend, which included hip hop music, a cooking class, a Palestinian fashion show, speakers, an art auction and food. During Israel’s attacks on Gaza, we have organized funeral marches through the Corvallis Farmers Market, a mourning tent on the Oregon State University Quad, vigils and protests. We have collaborated with other Palestinian solidarity groups to host speakers and authors on tour through our region, worked in coordination with the US Campaign to End the Israel Occupation, and partnered with allies in our local faith communities in hosting educational events and film screenings. We support the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and human rights, and in their resistance to oppression and occupation, including their call for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS). We welcome those who wish to join us.

This is an urgent request to donate whatever you can to your families in Gaza or if you don’t have someone you know and trust there then please donate to us and we will get the funds directly to the families we sponsor. No overhead costs. No intermediary organization.

We are hearing from our friends on the ground that the stores are becoming empty, that the crossings are closed and the panic is starting to set in. Time is running out for folks to stock up on whatever that can as they brace for another manmade famine at the hands of this evil occupation.

Please donate and share! And we will get the funds into the hands of those who need it most.

And contact your reps to demand the crossings reopen and this collective punishment be put to an end once and for all! Open the gates! Free Palestine! 🇵🇸

Last night we had the honor of hearing Linda Quiquivix speak about her book PALESTINE 1492, A Report Back.
"... what I see from 500 years of the struggle for life in words, maps, and images in the seven cardinal directions and in the spiral that is time."
Thank you, Linda!
And thank you, Plant Posse, for hosting.

Tonight!

Come join us at Plant Posse after hours on Friday 10/9 for a free discussion with author and geographer, Linda Quiquivix.

Her book Palestine 1492 is a report back of what she sees from 500 years of the struggle for life in words, maps, and images in the seven cardinal directions and in the spiral that is time.

We will have light refreshments and time for lots of good discussion. Hope to see you there!
