Mormon Trail CSD Special Election Today--Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
To Fill (1) School Board Vacancy At-Large

Candidates are Matthew Cromer & Andrew Bexten.

Wayne & Clarke electors will vote at Humeston Community Center.
Decatur Electors will vote at the Van Wert Community Center.
Lucas Electors will vote at the Lucas Community Center.

Polls are open from 7AM to 8PM.

Mormon Trail CSD is in Decatur, Clarke, Lucas & Wayne County.

Friday, March 13, 2026 @ 5PM - Candidate Filing Deadline School Secretary is the filing clerk.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026 - First Day to Publish Election Notice & Absentee ballots may be mailed or voted in person in your Auditor's Office.
* Wayne County will be administering this election for Clarke County
* Decatur & Lucas county will administer this election themselves.

Monday, March 23, 2026 - Voter pre-registration Deadline
- Deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed
Friday, April 3, 2026 - Deadline for publication notice

Tuesday, April 7, 2026 - ELECTION DAY
* Wayne & Clarke County residents will vote at the Humeston Community Center
* Decatur residents will vote in their county at their polling location (TBD)
* Lucas County residents will vote in their county at their polling location (TBD)

The Primary Election
Tuesday, June 2 2026 from 7AM to 8PM.

The Primary Election is held to determine the Party Candidate who qualifies to move to the General Election Ballot in November 2026.

Candidate Filing Period is March 2 – March 20, 2026 (5:00 PM).
Candidate Guide and Documents are available from the Secretary of State or the local Auditor’s Office.

Candidate forms must be filed with the Auditor’s Office.

The Wayne County Partisan Offices on the 2026 Primary Election Ballot are as follows:
