👻🚑 Things are getting a little SPOOKY at Deer Grove EMS! 🎃

Looks like these ghouls have been up to some boo-nanigans in the back of the ambulance! 🩺🕸️ We’re not sure if this is patient care or paranormal activity… but either way, we’re keeping an eye on these ghosts! 😂👻

Want to see what other spooky shenanigans these ghouls have been getting into? Head over to the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department’s page for more Halloween fun! 🧟‍♂️🚒

Stay safe out there, and remember… not every ghost story is fiction! 👀💀

🔥 Fire Prevention Week is all about prevention, education, and community — and we’re proud to celebrate the fire departments we’re lucky to work alongside!

Today we spent the morning with the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department at Deerfield Community Schools, helping bring fire prevention education to the next generation. 🚒🧯 The kids were engaged, curious, and hopefully left with a few important lessons about fire safety.

Tonight, our friends at Cottage Grove Fire Department are continuing the fun with their Open House from 5–7 PM! Stop by, meet the firefighters, check out the equipment, and enjoy an evening of community connection.

A big THANK YOU to both of our partner fire agencies for the work you do every day to keep our communities safe — and for letting us be part of it. We’re proud to stand beside you! 💙💚

Happy Fire Prevention Week! 🔥🚒

This week our Deer-Grove EMS team is proud to be back at CampHERO, celebrating 15 years of inspiring young women to explore careers as first responders.

Run by Girl Scouts of Badgerland alongside area first responders, the camp gives girls real hands-on experience at Madison College. Watching them step up, ask questions, and try their hand at EMS skills is a highlight of our year. Today's campers could be tomorrow's paramedics. 🚑 🩺

Thank you to everyone who makes this camp happen. Here's to the next 15 years.

As EMS Week comes to a close, we want to extend a sincere thank you to the communities we serve for your continued support — especially everyone who helped make yesterday’s blood drive such a success.

We’re also grateful to our partner fire department agencies for the kindness, encouragement, and recognition throughout the week. Strong partnerships make a difference every day, and we’re proud to serve alongside you.

Most importantly, thank you to our Deer-Grove EMS staff for the hard work, compassion, professionalism, and teamwork you bring to this job every single day. EMS is not easy work, and this community is fortunate to have such dedicated providers answering the call.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we encourage everyone to stay safe, look out for one another, and take a moment to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Happy EMS Week — and thank you for supporting EMS.

As EMS providers, we see what a strong blood supply makes possible. The trauma patient on the way to the ER. The new mom facing complications. The cancer patient mid-treatment. Every one of them depends on someone who decided to roll up a sleeve.

Right now the Red Cross is more than 350 donations behind their May goal, and summer (when donations historically drop) is right around the corner.

Our drive is Thursday, May 21, 10 AM to 3 PM at Station 1. Appointments take about an hour from start to finish, and yes, there are snacks. 🍪
