All residents age 18+ are encouraged to participate in this 10 +/- minute survey.

RAIN BARREL PROGRAM for Cottonwood Heights Residents.

Starting March 13, 2024, Cottonwood Heights residents can order these $55 rain barrels (limit of 1 subsidized barrel per household) on the rain barrel program website while supplies last. To order:

Rain barrels can also be purchased for the price of $83 if you are not a Cottonwood Heights resident or after the subsidized barrels run out.

You must be able to pick up your rain barrel on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Murray Public Works yard (4646 S. 500 W. Murray, UT 84123).

Join me - I've signed up for Cottonwood Heights Police Department Citizens Academy which begins on Wednesday evening, Feb. 28, 2024, and every Wednesday through May 1, 2024.

Classes include:

Valley Emergency Communications Center (VECC) tour
Criminal investigation and evidence collection
Lethal force/firearm simulator
Gangs and narcotics
Domestic violence and K9s
Traffic enforcement
Less-lethal force and SWAT teams

Citizens Academy allows Cottonwood Heights residents, business owners, and employees access to CHPD officers and department resources. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions but can miss one or two sessions and still graduate from Citizens Academy.
