Voter Registration closes TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13th!!

Early In-Person Voting and Advance Mail Voting begins WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th!!

Those wishing to vote in the November 3rd General Election will have until Tuesday, October 13th, to register. The registration books will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13th, and will remain closed until after the election.

A person must register to vote if he or she is a new resident in Morris County, or is 18 years or older and has never been registered. A person must re-register if he or she wishes to change party affiliation, has moved or has changed name by marriage or divorce. A voter may register, or re-register, in person at the Morris County Clerk's office, online at www.sos.ks.gov , or by mail. The voter registration application is also available on the county website at www.morriscountyks.org

Please contact the Morris County Clerk's Office to verify your name and address are up to date for your voter registration!!!

Morris County is seeking bids for the courthouse winter snow removal. Sealed bids will be opened on Tuesday, October 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the Morris County Commissioner’s Meeting Room.

Temporary Road Closure:

Beginning September 23rd, 2026, H Avenue from Highway 177 to 800 Road will be closed for a box culvert replacement. The road closure is anticipated to last for approximately 2 weeks.

Treasurer's Office Update: Temporary Service Suspension for Driver's Licenses and Identification Cards

Due to current staffing limitations, beginning August 14th, the Morris County Treasurer's Office will not be issuing driver's licenses or identification cards until further notice.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore these services.

Updates will be provided as soon as services resume.
