Earlier this year the Sheriff's Office applied for federal grants to replace aging radios that are no longer repairable due to their age. We were notified last week that we were awarded more than $139,000 in federal grants to replace those aging systems. This will be a huge improvement for radio communications in our department and a HUGE saving for taxpayers.

These upgrades will improve our ability to communicate with neighboring agencies during emergencies and improve our safety while responding to calls for service.

Good Afternoon Fam....

Detective Young just had an awesome video call with the Publishers Clearing House Scammers.
They could see him but all he saw was "PCH" in the background.
Drug the call on for about 20 minutes waiting for them to ask for money.
Wanted him to stay on the phone and drive to CVS to buy an amazon card.
Flashed his badge and I'm sure you can guess what happened next...yep They hung up.

No legitimate prize or company comes with you having to drive to buy a gift card or stay on the phone while you go somewhere.

Scammers are everywhere and they get more inventive every single day.
Keep your guard up. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Feel free to call us anytime you have questions or think something is a scam.

P.S.S. Mr. James Walker at [email protected]....we still want our 53 million and brand new 2025 GMC truck.
