🎉 As we continue celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month ( ), we're proud to spotlight Tim! Since starting at the La Grange Library in August, Tim has embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and build new skills. His enthusiasm, positive attitude, and determination have been evident from day one.

Through hard work, practice, and support from his family, Tim has overcome challenges and made incredible progress in just a few short months. Watching his confidence and independence grow has been inspiring for everyone around him. 🌟

Last Friday, more than 250 Helping Hand team members came together for our annual In-Service, our largest yet. As our organization continues to grow, we gathered at the William Tell Hotel for a day filled with learning, connection, and celebration! 💚

Team members broke out into 3 training sessions + 1 team-building activity:

➡️ Communicating with Care
➡️ The Way We Show Up
➡️ Recognize. Regulate. Respond
➡️ Team Building: The Power of Perspective

We also celebrated special milestones, including recognizing John Ponce for 20 years of service as he prepares for retirement later this month, and honoring Allison Bouma with the Bill Dwyer Transformation Award! ✨

Thank you to every team member who shows up each day with compassion, dedication, and heart. Together, we're transforming lives. 💙
