✨ The Give Back Car Show Raises $5,680 to Grant Bentley’s Wish for a Swingset! 💛

A huge thank you to Phil Hall, known to many as “The Car Father,” for hosting The Give Back Car Show at The Beef Barn in North Smithfield and raising an incredible $5,680 to grant Bentley’s wish!

Bentley was born with a heart condition that was discovered just hours after birth. Today, he is doing well and loves to play! His greatest wish was to have a playground of his very own where he could swing and climb whenever he wants. The best part is getting to share it with his twin sister and older sister!

This past Saturday, we were so happy to join Phil and the car show community alongside Bentley and his family for a special check presentation to celebrate the success of the fundraiser!

Phil, you turned your passion for cars into something truly special for Bentley and his family. Thanks to you and everyone who supported the Give Back Car Show, Bentley will have his very own playground where he can enjoy being a kid and create lasting memories with his sisters. Your kindness and dedication to granting his wish mean more than words can say! 💛

✨ Thank You, Rock N Jock Charities, for Granting Nick's Wish to Disney World! ✨

What an incredible year for Rock N Jock Charities! This year's fundraiser raised $22,000, with $11,000 going to A Wish Come True and $11,000 to FARA!

Thanks to their amazing support, Nick's wish to visit Disney World and meet Mickey Mouse is coming true! 🏰💛

Nick has faced medical challenges since birth, and now he has something magical to look forward to! His trip is officially booked, and this January, he'll be heading to Disney with his mom, dad, brother, and sister!

A HUGE thank you to Steve Smith, Billy Gilman, and all the incredible volunteers who work so hard to support these causes each year!

You didn't just raise funds. You granted Nick a magical wish and gave his whole family memories they'll cherish forever! 💛✨

In Chapter 4, “Hope in One Hemisphere,” of the podcast Resilient Hearts: Navigating Your Child’s Life-Threatening Illness with Love and Hope, Samantha Pelletier shares the emotional journey of her daughter June, who was diagnosed with Rasmussen Encephalitis.

From a life-changing brain surgery that left June having to relearn how to walk and talk, to finding out she would need another surgery the same week her wish was approved, Samantha opens up about what life is really like for families facing a child's life-threatening illness.

June's dream was to visit Disney World and meet her favorite princesses. But what her family found through A Wish Come True was something they never expected.

This conversation is a powerful look at why granting magical wishes is only part of what we do. It's about embracing the entire family when they need it most.

✨ When Jayla shared with her mom that she wanted to celebrate her 16th birthday with a party surrounded by her friends and family, our wonderful friends at Mack’s Original Pizza Pub stepped in to give her the Sweet 16 celebration she had hoped for. ✨

A huge thank you to the Cerrone Family and especially Katie Cerrone, who took the time to plan all the special details and was even there to celebrate alongside Jayla and her family. From delicious food to time spent with the people she loves, it was a special night celebrating an important milestone.

Jayla’s mom shared:
“Thank you so much for this. I will never forget that day because I didn’t know how to face my child on her special day, but A Wish Come True did the unexpected for me. I will forever be grateful.”

This is what Embracing Families is all about. Being there for the children and families we support beyond the wish and giving them opportunities to celebrate and create special memories together.

Thank you to the Cerrone Family and Katie for continuing to be there for our families and helping us create moments like this.

✨ A record-breaking $725,000 raised at our Ripples of Love Gala! ✨

Nearly 500 people filled the room for our 2026 Ripples of Love Gala Presented by Massey & Associates to celebrate A Wish Come True and two very special people, Frank and Colleen Duffy, recipients of our 2026 Lifetime Impact Award.

Throughout the night, we shared the story of Frank and Colleen, their daughter Meghan, and the incredible ripple of love their family has created through A Wish Come True.

We shared how Frank and Colleen turned the love they have for their daughter, Meghan, into years of helping children and families. We shared the impact of the Meghan K. Duffy Hardship Fund and our Embracing Families programs, including powerful words directly from wish parents who have received that support.

And we shared something incredibly special. Meghan’s own wish was officially granted as A Wish Come True’s 1,930th wish. Her wish was to create a stuffed animal that could bring comfort to sick children. Today, that wish lives on through Duffy Duck, carrying Meghan’s love to another generation of children.

The night was also filled with moments we will never forget, including Wish Mom Diana Rodrigues joining Billy Gilman to sing “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” surrounded by our wish kids and siblings.

To everyone who helped us reach an incredible $725,000, thank you. And to Frank and Colleen, thank you for sharing Meghan with all of us and for allowing her ripple of love to continue through A Wish Come True. 💛
